i cant open the "tools" page because it moves the window out of frame every time i move the mouse. the openfeed page is super annoying to open after being somein in another page and you have to click random buttons and hope that it works (just entering openfeel.icu into the ingame browser doesnt seem to work).
also that tools window suddenly was only half the size and so i could not use the morse code tool because of course there is no way to scroll down or resize the window....
the idea is cool but this is literally unplayable.
the browser has been tested extensively on my end, everything was working great when testing. can you give me your screen res and the browser you are opening the site from? also if possible, the scaling you are playing on. i'll investigate and make the necessary changes.
also im not sure what you mean by "the openfeed page is super annoying to open after being somein in another page and you have to click random buttons and hope that it works (just entering openfeel.icu into the ingame browser doesnt seem to work)."
are you opening new tabs in your browser? in any case, working on fixing the openfeed.icu typing so it redirects back to the home page
Hi, yes i am indeed playing on 3840×2160 with 150% OS scaling and then i actually scaled up the page in the browser as well, that must have caused those issues. I will try again on a 1080p screen with normal scaling
About "opening the openfeed page" i meant that when i am in the forum for example and i want to go back to the feed page, typing the URL into the ingame browser doesn't seem to work, also the "back" button in the ingame browser doesnt seem to work, i can only return to the feed page after clicking around on those ingame browser buttons.
I have an idea: since unity seems to be running some kind of webserver and is hosting the web page with that ingame computer UI locally – wouldn't it make more sense to just make the web pages (like the forum and the openfeed page) separate so that the players can actually use their real web browser to access the different pages? (but that might be hard to implement since the URL would have to be resolved to the localhost IP so idk if that's possible)
oh and i think on firefox the page doesn't work correctly, the camera feeds are blank (only the noise effect is showing up) it works on chromium based browsers (tested on brave, it works)
gotcha, thanks for the reply and feedback!! i'll take a look and see if i can implement your suggestion, it seems like a great idea! i'll try to put in a script so the webpage scales properly even with different resolutions and scalings and also try to implement firefox support aswell! thanks again for the feedback!!
